Windsurf then signs in to your Minds account over OAuth; an API key is optional. 1. In the Cascade panel, open the **…** menu and choose **Open MCP config file**. 2. Add Minds under `mcpServers` and save the file:```

```1. Sign in to Minds when Windsurf prompts, and choose **Allow**. To use an API key from [Settings → API Keys](https://getminds.ai/settings/api-keys) instead, add a header that reads the key from your environment:```
